On July 1, the Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2024 will begin, offering fans 21 exciting days of cricket action. The fifth edition of the Finals will consist of 24 matches of which 4 are knockout in the round which is scheduled for July 21
The tournament begins with a rematch of the 2023 Final as defending champions B-Love Kandy face Dambulla.
Matches will be hosted across three venues: Kandy will see 5 games, Dambulla 9, and Colombo 10.

The five teams playing this season are B-Love Kandy, Colombo Strikers, Dambulla, Galle Marvels, and Jaffna Kings. The competition will be double round-robin, with the top 4 teams moving on to the July 18–21 Playoffs. If necessary, there is a spare day for the Final on July 22.
